After graduating from University of Virginia with a B.A. in mathematics in 2008, I taught high school at Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School in Virginia, where I gained a passion for teaching. When I was ready for a new challenge, I went back to graduate school and earned my M.S. (2015) and my Ph.D. (2018) in mathematics from George Mason University. My primary research interests are discrete math and combinatorics, but I also dabble in computer science, particularly algorithms. In my free time, I like to write and make art.
