Commencement

Commencement is a very special time at Susquehanna, not only for our students, but also for their families and the entire SU community. It is the culmination of the academic year and the student’s undergraduate experience — a monumental celebration for those who have completed their degree at Susquehanna University.

Susquehanna’s 166th Commencement ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2024, is scheduled for Saturday, May 18.

Please continue to check back for more details as they are announced.

Baccalaureate

During Commencement season, there is so much to celebrate at Susquehanna. One of the ceremonies we look forward to is Baccalaureate, a non-religious service prior to Commencement for graduates, their families and supporters.

Student speakers, readers and musicians from the graduating class reflect on the theme of gratitude in light of their academic journeys. The celebration also includes the singing of Susquehanna’s Alma Mater and musical offerings from the Baccalaureate choir.

Susquehanna’s Baccalaureate ceremony, celebrating the Class of 2024, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, in Weber Chapel Auditorium.
